Derry look for third All-Ireland U16 title in a row - Match Preview

Derry will look to secure their dominance in the U16B championship when they take on Offaly in the Final this Sunday.  They will no doubt be buoyed by their win over a fancied Antrim side in the Ulster Championship on Monday, building the confidence needed to perform against a strong Offaly team who have seen off the likes of Armagh, Laois and Meath in the earlier stages of the competition.

The Oak Leaf county will be well lead by captain Danielle McCrystal and the other eleven members of last year’s All-Ireland winning squad.  They are well supported by the influx of new players who have flourished in this team, in particular, Grainne McNicholl, Karen Kielt and Dania Donnelly who were in great form against Antrim.

Good luck to the players and management on Sunday.
