U12 Development Day proves to be a great success

On Saturday 10th June in Owenbeg, over 200 children from all the clubs in Derry took part in an Under 12 development day organised by Derry County Board. Events on the day were organised by Kevin Kelly who ensured that activities went off without any problems and the children benefited greatly. The children enjoyed skills coaching and games throughout the morning under the watchful eye of Derry county players and coahes who volunteered their time for the day. Many thanks must go to Sara McGuckin and county board members who helped to organise the event and ensure it was a great success. Hopefully this may be the first of many!
